We have some fun events coming up! And wanted to go over our schedule for this week and next.

Pumpkin Decorating Fun Night Oct 30, 2019

Since we don't have practice next Wednesday and it is the night before Halloween, we have planned a fun team event.  It will be at 6:30pm on Wednesday, Oct 20, 2019, from 6:30-8:30pm in the Blue Room at the Rec Center right next door to the pool.

We will have pumpkins available for the swimmers to pick from and decorate with paints, glitter, and their imaginations. 

Please RSVP for the Event listed on our WEBSITE under the VOLUNTEER tab so we can get a good count for everyone coming to join the fun!

Practices

We do not have practice tonight 10/23 but have Friday 10/25 practice to replace it.

We do not have practice Wednesday 10/30 but have Friday 11/1 practice to replace it next week.

We do not have practice on Thursday 10/31 because its HALLOWEEN!

The Gobbler Meet Nov 22-24, 2019, Folsom Aquatic Center

The Gobbler has an interesting set up with its sessions.  Saturday and Sunday the morning sessions start at 8:30am  for 13&Up while the afternoon sessions start 1 hour after the completion of the morning sessions for 12&under.  Warm ups and Check in start at 7:00am each morning. It is deck seeded so check in is required.

The Phillips family and my family have reserved cabanas for all day Saturday and Sunday.  They fit about 6-8 people and we can definitely share.  ;-)

The hotel we are going to stay in is the Hampton Inn in Folsom, Ca.  I found the best rate on hotels.com at $116 per night for a double queen and $98 for a king.  The block rate they offered was $125 per night so I declined that one.

The Gobbler closes on Nov 15, 2019, so be sure to sign up early as this is the last meet of the Fall Season!

Lights

DRPD is going to be installing different lights on the bathroom building since the motion detector solar lights have proven not to work well.  They hope to have them installed by Thursday!
