Good afternoon Fall Dolphin Pod!

We have our first week of Fall Season under our belt.  We are so excited to share this first Fall Season with all of you!

Introduction

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Alicia Rock and I am the President of the Board of Directors for the Durham Area Swimming Association which runs the Durham Dolphin Swim Team.  This is my second season as President, and third season on the BOD.  My daughter Sienna Noftz is a Striped Dolphin and this is her fourth season with the Dolphins.  I will be sending emails and reminders out so that we make sure to keep the communication flowing.  If you have questions, please ask me or other board members at the pool. 

Coaching Staff

We will have Zinnia Balken on deck Monday - Wednesday, and Eric Balken on deck for Thursday.  We have Scott Thresher doing a dryland program for 11&up on Wednesdays as well.  We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of coaches to guide our swimmers through the Fall Season. Coach Zinnia and Coach Eric are so impressed with everyone so far!  Keep up the good work!  

Hot Dog Meet

We have the Hot Dog Meet coming up on Sunday, September 15, 2019, in Lodi, California.  It is a one day meet but will be a great way to begin the process of gauging your swimmers progress.  I have attached the Meet Sheet for the Hot Dog Meet to this email.  You can sign up for this Meet at https://ome.swimconnection.com/login If you are new to the OME process, please grab one of us at the pool and we can help you walk through it! 

FUNdraising

We are planning on doing some easy FUNdraisers this Fall with the team.  We are going to be coordinating with MOD Pizza, Woodstock Pizza, and Dutch Bros to have Dolphin Days!  Will keep you posted on the dates!

Payments

Please remember to bring check payments for Fall Registration to practice.  You can give them to any board members.
